In this page, I collect several prototypes of Mobile Musical Instruments (Android) I developed using the Faust programming language and its Faust2Android capability.

Ocarina

Inspired by the great app made by Ge Wang, I developed my own version of a virtual Ocarina. The synthesizer is controlled by the user’s breath and a set of six buttons.

 

Granular Gestures

A granular synthesizer controlled by the internal accelerometer of the phone.

 

Organ

Just an organ-like instrument.

 

Wobbling Gestures

Fun with FM synthesis, a wobbling sound generator controlled by the built-in accelerometer.
